Hi. Im new to the forum an citroen c3s. Ive a problem with my brake pedal. When i start the engine it moves about an inch or so towards the floor,stays there for maybe 10/15 secs and releases. When car is driving brakes work fine. When idle and pedal is pumped a few times it seems to stick on again for 10/15 secs and releases. Any advice/help would be great cheers. Car is 2003 1.4 hdi engine with 87000 miles. Not sure bout history. It failed mot on brake pedal not releasing. Thanks in advance

Hi.

Sounds to me like a brake servo problem. Best to take it into a garage for a look at because faults on brakes can become dangerous if not fixed properly.
You can add an avatar to your account - Avatar or change your vehicle details - Car Bio or even add a signature to your posts - Signature. But this is not all you can do in the User Control Panel :)

thanks for reply. had it in garage but think he couldnt be bothered with the work. will swap servo and see how i get on. thanks for the help :D
