The Blower has stopped working just at the best time of the year for it to do so, Winter :| !

Reading the forums its apparent that the Resistor Module is often the cause of the Blower not working.

Does someone know how to check the Resistor Module?
Does power from the resistor go straight to the Blower. I could then test the pins that supply that current?
If someone could post the wiring diagram for the Blower circuit that would be great.

Cheers Ian

Hi Ian, if you want to get stuck into wiring diagrams then the C3 Haynes manual (Amazon has all of that for your model and year.

But because it's a common problem (because the pollen filter service gets neglected?) then it is easier to just change the thing (here) and that cures most of the faults.

To identify yours, just remove it and compare pictures with these. They are all very different so it can be easy to match them up by looking at your existing one.

Thanks for that, I was hoping someone could post the diagram. I dont have much time to order the book and wait for it, and only need to know the wiring, and not about the rest of the car. If I can work out an easy test point to determine wheather the Module or the Motors gone it would save a lot of time.

I sorted my blower, it turned out to be the Resistor Module. So nothing much new there, seems almost always be the cause of an inoperative blower.
The same Module is fitted to quite a number of different car & van makes. Fiat, Alfa, Citroen, Renault to name a few. I would assume they also have the same common fault.
