i was messing with the controls and noticed the blower controls wont turn all the way to the right (similar controls to this)
it turns to top, left and bottom but then fully stops it wont turn to the position shown above
wondering if anyone else has seen this before maybe got some tips before i start messing with the switch unit and filters etc

Hello C3Noob
it probably looks like this inside

You can't fix it, other than change it, try eBay (link to parts)
But you maybe should find the cause and that could be the blower motor seized

I'm sorry I'm a bit confused! Are you talking about air direction selector knob? The knob on the left?
If so the knob moves a Bowden cable (like a push bike brake cable). The cable is connected to a lever on the air distribution box, near the drivers left knee (RHD car).
The cable could be kinked or something inside or outside the distribution box could be fowling the lever. There may be something inside the switch panel stopping it moving all the way around.
You should be able to see and observe the flap lever moving if you remove the storage box under the steering wheel There is a draw bar going from the director to a spot on the box (I've put an arrow on it). I dont know what it does but it might get jammed and cause problems?
To remove the control panel you will need to remove the radio and undo the two torx head screws holding the control panel in place.
If you are talking about the fan speed, well just forget what I said.

You should be able to see and disconnect the cable by sticking your head into the drivers foot well and look behind the center console.

sounds much better and easier fix than C3driver52's reply, i was starting to worry reading that

guess im pulling the panel to have a peek then fingers crossed ive had enough issues already with this car and only had it 3 weeks

You should be able to remove the Bowden cable from the air box and move the director lever by hand and see if it moves all the way up and down. If it does then you know it's not in the air box and it's probably in the control panel.

Cheers Ozvtr nice and easy instructions even for me.....
Yeah ive took out the storage box and see them, the grey lever seems fine nothing obstructing it but to be sure i was going to seperate the grey and black parts so i could figure if the issue was defo behind the blower controls.
Next issue cant get a proper grip or manouver to attempt to seperate them without possibly breaking the grey connectors... ideas appreciated

I wouldn't remove the grey arm from the draw bar just yet.
There is a clip holding the Bowden cable to the air box. It's visible in the photo. Remove the clip, this will free up the cable and you should be able to move the grey arm. You should be able to determine if the problem is inside the air box or the draw bar or the control panel.
I'm not sure but I think the draw bar pushes a flap that sends air out the holes on each side of the center console near the floor at the front.
If the problem is inside the air box, then I have no idea what it could be.

Thanks for the reply, got round to it today.
I couldnt get in to get a good enough grip to remove the metal or plastic clips as theres not enough moving space so i went with removing the radio and blowers controls.
there is defo nothing burnt in there and all the wires and connections seem good.
the next step would be to remove the full panel by the looks of it as its all one piece (i think) to be able to see where the black lever goes to, which yeah its connected to the air flaps on the base of where the gear stick is by the looks of it and also be able to get enough of an angle to get a decent grip on the black cable to remove it.
not really up for this just now unless there is an easier way than trying to remove the full dash front panel.
on the plus side having removed the radio i did get round to getting pictures of the back for my other post
