Hi Guys.

Just wanted to ask a quick question.

When i apply the handbrake in my C3, now and then i notice a few beeps. It isn't all the time. I seem to notice it particularly when im on a hill. My guess is that its warning me that its a pretty steep hill? Im not sure. I could be wrong, and its trying to warn me somethings failing!

Is this a normal feature?

Hi Vildar

Our C3 beeps at you if you've left the handbrake on, even if it's only '1 notch', when you start to move. It could be that the car is sensing movement either because it rolls back a little on a hill or is moving slightly when the handbrake is applied?

I'm pretty sure there isn't a sensor for inclination and I can't think of anything else it could be.
If at first you don't succeed, destroy all the evidence and pretend you never tried :lol:
