Hi jamsie,
The radio may need it stations reprogrammed and the clock will need to be set again, but radio pairing will be ok.
It would be worth following these instructions when disconnecting the battery to reduce the likelihood of corrupting the BSI

To be absolutely sure you could remove the radio from the car and look at the sticker on the top or bottom, there will be manufacturer and model information on it.How do I find out which make of radio is in car
These radio removal keys may fit yours.
If you post a picture of the radio, someone may be able to identify it from the picture.
Reset it? I don't know of any codes to reset a Citroen radio. Why do you want to reset it? (I assume the title of the topic 'Disconnect Battery' didn't reset the radio?)how do I find the code to reset it

It sounds like the RD4 - a standard citroen radio, there is no code for it. Its linked to the car computer and disconnecting the battery won't affect that link, but it will loose the radio station programming.have managed to remove radio and there are a lot of numbers on it. Don't see a make just this word Continental
That does not apply to this radio.I have been told if I disconnect battery and reconnect later the radio will not work and will need code to reset it.
If you did have a radio that needs a code, the code will be written on some paperwork that came with the car.
The RD4 found in many Citroen Models, some have MP3 Disc playback.
There could be stickers on the sides too on the RD4. Pictures of the stickers can help identify the radio if yours is not the one in the picturethere are a lot of numbers on it. Don't see a make
