Have you tried Peugeot Planet?
Try configuring it like it was a 1007. In fact it probably still thinks it's a 1007!
I have found that sometimes an item will configure under PP where it wont configure under LEXIA.

Hello,
This amazes me, but hardware and software numbers between original and donored ECU are almost perfect match and for BSI good match.
I personally don't like Peugeot Planet 2000, it has more bugs and just is not that responsive as Lexia. I have old DiagBox 07.02 on Windows XP and DiagBox 09.91 on Windows 7. Both are running well, but I prefer the old one - works faster and is more reliable.
What amazes me, that after minor changes in BSI software it caught it as Citroen C3 and worked perfectly well.
I tried to see what is going on with PP2000, but it didn't help - I could configure only BSI part. COM2000, instrument cluster and ECU are listed as not recognised by PP2000, but you can get into and see what's going on (Actuator tests).
I spent on this topic many hours and I think that the easiest solution would be to change COM2000 to one from Peugeot 1007.
BSI configuration in PP2000 has the same options as in Lexia.
Best regards!

Hello everyone interested,
I had some time to dig deeper into BSI control of interior lighting.
My car is a poor version - it has just a digital clock (no radio display) and no air conditioning (so no climate control panel with a screen). But both elements (digital clock and manual climate control panel) has some kind of backlight.
Digital clock has backlight on 100% when it has just power (instrument cluster - speedo) has power. Climate control panel has no backlight without request.
Request for backlight is created when position lights or low beams are activated. Then digital clock and climate control panel adjust its backlight by value selected on instrument cluster (+/- button).
Backlight lighting request is send over separate wire to digital clock, climate control unit and buttons on the side of radio slot.
So conclusion is as follows: if you really want you can change the behavior of interior backlight you can with one exepction - instrument cluster. You have to disconnect a wire from BSI, I'm not sure which one and connect it to external power source.
Have a good one
