Was informed when my car was in the garage that my back brakes need looking at as there making a noise.

Said they might just need cleaned up.

What type of cost would be involved?

Got a feeling they'll need replaced and it will pop up on mot when due.

Cleaning is cheap if you can get the drum off easily use some brake cleaner on everything, but have a look at this link to euro car parts, enter your reg to get the price of parts. It will take an hour or so to fit them.

Its best to fix your brakes before they are spotted on the MOT and they must be changed in pairs across the axle.
