Hello! I have a question: The first two windows are electric, but only the automatic on the driver's side. If I were to replace the button on the other side with an automatic one, do you think it would work, or should I do something else there? The car is 2007.
I took it apart, but I could only remove the connector on the driver's side. On the other side, the chat is much bigger, unfortunately it didn't work there... (Sorry for my bad English, I wrote it with google translator 😅)

Hi
You can unplug the cigarette lighter and power socket quite easily. Also the other window switch. There are some pictures on the forum to help, but you just continue what you were doing with the other switch

I don't know if swapping them will work, butt it shouldn't be so difficult to try

My diagram does not show the automatic part of the circuit, so it may all be in the switch?

My problem is that the driver's side button connector is smaller than the one on the other side. That's why I can't swap the two buttons.

The models before the facelift have an automatic on both sides and the same connector, but not the ones after the facelift, so I wanted to replace it with an automatic, since I have a car after the facelift. However, as it turned out, the connector is not the same.

The automatic feature of the windows is in the motor. It's not in the BSI or any other ECU. So to get it to work you would need to replace the motor and the wiring. It might be possible that the motors are the same but definitely the switch and wiring would need to be replaced.
