What needs to be done if the anti brake system light comes on and it's making an awful grinding noise when trying to drive it. Also is it ok to drive it or just to leave it.thanks.

You have 2 problems, firstly the ABS warning light

is warning you there is a problem with the ABS system, and its probably not going to function or function as expected should you need to use it. To diagnose this, use Lexia tool to read the ABS ECU codes which can give you an idea where to look.

Secondly,

The grinding noise is a mechanical problem, could be wheel bearing or any sort of mechanical problem to do with brakes, drive train, gear box or any number of other things.

It is best NOT to drive it in this condition as it may be something very dangerous, something about to fail and cause loss of control or something trivial, you don't know until it get looked at by someone who knows what they are looking at.

I would do the second one first as you may find the mechanical problem has caused the ABS electrical problem. Doing it in this order just saves time and work.
