Hi all im happy to be joining you all in this little car club. I recently bought a c3 picasso as the main family car and have been very happy with our journey so far.

When I drive around without a seat-belt on a strange little melody starts. Anyone know how i can stop this unwanted musical distraction?

The air bags are designed to work in tandem with the seatbelt and the seatbelt pretensioner. I imagine you get the warning because the system won't work as designed in an impact where the pretensioners and airbags are deployed.

I am not aware of any way to disable the warning sound, other then engaging a seat belt clip into the buckle.

You could try something like this?
seat belt alarm immobiliser on ebay, not sure if it fits your model, so its best to check first :)
