Afternoon guys and gals
I've just won (ebay) some alloy wheels for the C3 (citroen saxo wheels)
The guy that im getting them from said he'll swop my tires over and fit them to the car for free. Which is good :)
Only thing is i didn't relise at the time is the wheel bolts
I've since rung him and he's told me that "there the same" but I'm sure I remember having problems years ago with a Ford Sierra and wrong wheel nuts.
Can anyone shed any light on this?
Will the wheel bolts for a C3 steel wheel be safe to use on citroen saxo alloy wheels?

Aftermarket fitments suggest Saxo alloy wheel bolts fits Citroen C3 alloy wheels (and vice-versa), but no mention of mixing alloy and steel.

Alloys tend to have a tapered seat, steel ones are usually different.]

It will be good to see pictures of the C3 with saxo alloys :)

I seem to remember the problems I had with the ford was the bolts didn't seat probably and as so worked loose. Think that was something to do with the taper
does an one happen to know the taper angle on the steel wheel bolts?
Failing that i think I might have a look round the breakers at the weekend. I'm I right that any citroen with alloys will be the same thread/taper?
I'll post up some pics once there on

Well went to collect them yesterday and couldn't fit them :(
The alloys have a flat seat (totally different bolt) so would imagine it would be dangerous to even attempt to drive with them held on with the bolts I've got
Quick search on ebay found a set of flat seat bolts from a saxo for £22+post so I've ordered them
Also wasn't over happy with the condition of them! there in need of a respray (which I can do/have done many times but didn't tell him) also because he couldn't change the tires he knocked off a few ££ well almost half so more messing about than planned but got them for a song so happy :)
