Also if any one can see what size rivets I need to use on door handle that would be useful.

The ones I used were Aluminium Pop Rivets 4mm x 16mm and they are still going strong00James00 wrote:Also if any one can see what size rivets I need to use on door handle that would be useful.

Drill off the heads and try not to slip and damage the paint00James00 wrote:And also what's the easiest way to get these out?

Yours is quite a unique situation with all the faults at once and your steep learning curve with lexia. I am sure this topic will get split off into different section when things settle down. You can ask questions in the relevant sections without starting a new topic (as a reply to previous questions or tips topics if it fits well) if you like, but if its going to be easier to ask here and tidy-up later, then that may just have to be the way its done00James00 wrote:Right from this point I'll focus on my door handle lock-handle and airbags as I think I'm asking to much at once of you guys

You have a huge list of options in a PM I sent and hopefully that helps with the air bag fault.
If your BSI is configured for options that your car does not have you will get error codes and could have been cause by a BSI swap and no reconfiguration or someone messing around with lexia

Hi guys, quick update configured it all and all looks well but continue to have same faults, BSI faults cleared and only one left is sensor which I have bought today to put in. But the rest of the faults especially airbag ones remain

Electronic Stability Program (ESP) option, is this set correctly from that list of options for your car? I am not sure if ESP was on your year.
P106F Fault Permanent
fault Passenger's airbag deactivation Not defined
The light goes on/off when you turn the key in the passenger air bag switch, but you still have this error. I don't know what is causing this. I will have to have a think...
SAC_TEMIC
P1F4A
Permanent fault
Fault:ECU internal (VAN interface) not defined.
Something is not configured correctly, I think a Air Bag ECU swap may help identify a problem, but that is a case of finding one that is still good.
You could try switching off (unconfiguring) all the air bags to see if the faults with them will clear, then enable them one at a time until you find one that gives an error?
Does yours have automatic headlights or rain sensing wipers? You may have this configured incorrectly.
Make sure you do this screen with the ignition 'on' so all the ECUs are up and running.

If it helps any, our 2004 has ESP and side airbags. The airbags are in the sides of the front seats.
If at first you don't succeed, destroy all the evidence and pretend you never tried

You can pick the SAC_TEMIC AIR BAG ECU up cheap on ebay - here and they are a quick swap over job.C3CAR wrote:SAC_TEMIC

Hi ill try answer all,
Through the tech spec you sent me through pm.
Yes car has rain sensors, it does not have automatic lights
Ill try deactivating all airbags and doing what you suggest by individual fault finding, would this clear the light on dash board or will that always be on?
Ill purchase a ECU from eBay, and fingers crossed it might help. is the middle plastics easy to take off to gain access to the ecu. Internal van not defined is a new fault. It wasn't there on page 3 of my screen shots :-/, maybe i have played to much with lexia lol
Yeah the deactivation of passenger airbag fault has got me puzzled as it works fine according to the warning light when switched on and off.
My car does not have ESP in the details you provided C3CAR with my vin number. and these are the only airbag i can see in this description
FRONT LATERAL AIRBAG LATERAL AIR BAG
PASSENGER AIRBAG PASSENGER AIRBAG
I don't understand the whole level one and level two within the airbag configuration and also the RH airbags fired not defined fault as my car does not have side airbags
