Well done getting lexia installed. There is a lexia topic here that explains what windows versions it will run on, the screen resolution config file and other useful tips.00James00 wrote:I installed in onto a notebook running xp but had problems with resolution size and not being able to fully see Lexis screen so had to increase resolution above its capabilities but it works good. No, the system is designed to have each code read, acted on (fixed) and then removed. Obviously this has not happened in the past on your C3 and the system won't allow you to remove them in bulk.00James00 wrote:Is there a way to clear all faults at once?
All the ECRAN & CLIM REGULEE faults are with the display and aircon, so they are not your AIR BAG faults and can be ignored for the moment, but bear them in mind with the paragraph below.00James00 wrote:Here are the photos pulled up from lexia, more than 1 faultany help appreciated
If you have a whole host of faults where they seem to be a configuration issue, then this could be due to a different BSI being fitted to the car and not being configured to your current equipment.....
This screen shows a fault with nearly every system and not all the systems are showing which is unusual to have so many faults, and this just makes me more confident that someone has swapped a BSI over and not done all the configuration. You may not have a 'fault' with the AIR BAG or any of the other systems showing faults, other than they are not configured correctly.
To explain further e.g: If the BSI is configured for an external temperature and one is not present, a fault will be logged and won't clear. If the BSI is updated to record that the car has no external temperature sensor the fault can be cleared and no further faults for this will be recorded.
It can be a bit more confusing if there are different versions of e.g. 'external temperature sensor' and the wrong one is recorded as present in the BSI. You get faults recorded for parts that are fully working because the BSI is looking at the wrong part and can't communicate with it in an expected way.
Did you see the picture that C3CAR put on for you showing some lexia screens?
This is the sort of thing that happens with a misconfiguration.

Well to top it all off my car is now locked and won't unlock the key barrel just spins when trying to manually open it, battery must be dead through having it hooked up to lexia and not noticing battery dying. Any ways to get back into car or manually release the bonnet without gaining access

Also how would you reconfigure it? I noticed that in airbag configuration in had side air bags active, does the c3 have seatbelt tentioners as this was also active, is there a way to automatically just configure it to my car

Go through each of the configuration options in lexia and make sure the parts you have fitted to your car actually match what is recorded in the BSI. As you can imagine, the list is long00James00 wrote:Also how would you reconfigure it?

Mine does. I don't know if they all do, I would guess at yes, but you would have to look to be sure.00James00 wrote:I noticed that in airbag configuration in had side air bags active, does the c3 have seatbelt tentioners as this was also active
This is what the pre-tensioners look like
There is no free option to do it automatically. There is a paid option from Citroen but I don't know if this works with a clone lexia and if they find out its a clone you won't get any cooperation from Citroen. You also have the problem that the paid system will only configure the car as it came out of the factory or updated to any work that a Citroen main dealer did. If you have any different equipment then the automatic will misconfigure. You may well have a different BSI and Engine ECU that won't match Citroen records.00James00 wrote: is there a way to automatically just configure it to my car
The key shouldn't spin so it sounds like something has broken inside the lock00James00 wrote:Well to top it all off my car is now locked and won't unlock the key barrel just spins when trying to manually open it,

You can try a new battery in the fob as it may be a fob battery issue?
The Citroen C3 fob topic
It has been mentioned on the forum before that it has been done, but not how it was done00James00 wrote:Any ways to get back into car or manually release the bonnet without gaining access

I know it's the battery going flat not the Keyfob battery, it's crazy I literally bought a car that looked and ran fine but once you dive into it, it's just pure carnage lol so now I have a car with no access and I'm at by wits end lol

If I leave the battery as is until I can figure out how to get into the car without causing to much damage will it be alright? Also if you were in my predicament how would you gain access

Batteries don't like being flat, but I don't know if they get worse the longer you leave it flat, but I don't think hours will make much difference.00James00 wrote:If I leave the battery as is until I can figure out how to get into the car without causing to much damage will it be alright?
Locked up BSI can cause this lack of response to the remote and only open the drivers door when unlocking manually. This happens quite often to people who incorrectly fit an aftermarket stereo to the C3. You need to unlock manually with the key because the stereo puts the BSI to deep sleep.
If I knew, I would tell you. I have had the plip not activate the central locking a few times and resetting the BSI fixed the issue, BUT all I had to do was open the drivers door and while the alarm went off put the key in the ignition and turn it to silence the alarm. Then I could pop the bonnet and disconnect the battery. This sorted it.00James00 wrote:Also if you were in my predicament how would you gain access
With a broken drivers door lock, and no passenger lock, I don't know.
I suppose I would start at looking to pop open the bonnet.....
