Air Bag and Seat Belt fault showing, but no warning sounds

I've taken it to the main dealer who ran a diagnostic and told me the airbag connector may have needed a clean but that now the unit on the steering column should be replaced at a princely sum of over £400 including the labour and diagnostic charge.
I don't want to start messing around with this and setting the airbag off but I wondered if a reset of the battery would help first because I'm not sure they would have done so?
Also the fuse board in this vehicle doesn't seem to match the diagram in the user manual or the one posted in this forum. The one on my vehicle only has 12 fuse slots and only one populated. Does that sound correct?
Thanks for any feedback.

C3 1.1 Facelift
This sounds right, there another fuse box, much more well hidden that matches the diagram. You need to look much harder fuse boxes on the 2007 Citroen C3 topic may help. The one on my vehicle only has 12 fuse slots and only one populated. Does that sound correct?
Its the COM2000 - often gives problems, can be repaired - try bba-reman.com which is often cheaper than buying a new unit. The other option is to try eBay, there are com2000 units listed here, well worth a look, but ensure your faulty part number matches the one you are looking at buying. (look for a number like this 96488210XT on your unit after removing the cowling and compare this with the unit for sale on eBayI've taken it to the main dealer who ran a diagnostic and told me the airbag connector may have needed a clean but that now the unit on the steering column should be replaced at a princely sum of over £400 including the labour and diagnostic charge.
Some information about the COM2000 topic
This isn't going to help and may cause you more problems than you already have.I wondered if a reset of the battery would help first because I'm not sure they would have done so?
I would go with the diagnostics and get your com2000 checked or changed.
