I replaced the side indicator fitment on my wife's 2005 Citroen C3 at the weekend, but in doing so I think I inadvertently disconnected the ABS sensor cable, which was taped to the indicator one. It has a blue connector end.
Her ABS light is now on when she starts the car.
I know that to reconnect it I need to remove the wheel liner. Does anyone know if the liner bolts can just be popped off with a screwdriver or do I need a special tool? Also, as I just need to reach in and plug the ABS sensor back in, can I just release the liner but leave the tyre/wheel in place?
I am guessing there'll still be a fault I'll need to get a garage to clear once I've plugged it back in, to stop the light from staying on.
Thank you, Steven

I don't know how you could disconnect that connector inadvertently but it's a logical assumption I guess.
It is possible to take the wheel arch liner out with the wheel on, but you would be making the job so much harder! The short amount of time it would take to remove the wheel would be worth it.
Here is a pic of the tool I use but you can get a screw driver under the head and lever it up.>CLICK HERE<
I recommend pulling the the locking plug completely out of the clip before attempting to remove the clip. Micro rocks get trapped in between the locking plug and the clip making the plug difficult to remove!! Just keep at it
Once you fix the ABS problem the light will go out. It doesn't need to be reset.

You need to squeeze the clip on the ABS plug and it is impossible to disconnect this without releasing the clip.
I did an ABS wheel sensor recently and it's no problem removing the road wheel to get the inner arch out.
I use a special tool to remove those inner arch clips but I am sure you could use a flat bladed screwdriver.
The ABS plug/socket slides into a clip mounted on the body work which you can only see with the inner arch removed.

Thank you both. I appreciate that. I'll give it a go at the weekend and hopefully solve the problem!
