I have a Citroen C3 1.4 HDI 2007 driving along the ABS light came on along with the Airbag light, I stopped turn the ignition off. Starting the engine again I then got the Engine Management light up, ABS Light, Airbag Light, lost the power steering and the speedo went to 2 dashes. Stopped the car and got everything back/off speedo now working except the ABS Light and Engine Management stayed on. As far as I am aware my car don't have ABS looked for the ABS pump awhile back under the front nearside and there was no pump so I presume it doesn't have ABS. I would appreciate any ideas what the problem is. I have reset the BSI. To no avail. The BSI appears to be dry no visible water penetration.

Could be the speed sensor, comes from the wheel sensors on ABS cars, non ABS cars have a sensor in the gearbox for road speed.

If you want to dig deeper, like getting live data from the road speed sensor, you will need the lexia tool (here).
You can add an avatar to your account - Avatar or change your vehicle details - Car Bio or even add a signature to your posts - Signature. But this is not all you can do in the User Control Panel :)

I have found what appears to be the speed sensor on top of the gearbox near the oil breather, is this the speed sensor the type you have to undu with a spanner. The ones shown on ebay are a white plastic type held down with a tab and torx type bolt. Bit confused am I looking at the right one.

Seems the confusion is from Haynes manual according to the manual my vehicle should have a MA5 gearbox looking closer where the sensor should on top of the gearbox be it seems my vehicle as a BE4/5 gearbox fitted need to explore underneath I would still welcome any comments please.
