Hi,
Annoyingly, not a good start to new-shape C3 ownership.
The single window switch on the front passenger door card has fallen-through into the void below with very little pressure being applied.
Just wanted to know if anyone has knowledge of how the shiny 'piano black' piece of trim should be removed,(without damage) so I can retrieve and then refit said window switch.
I don't forsee any need to remove the whole door card for this issue. Thanks in advance for any input.

Answered my own question by tackling it earlier today. The details below might save someone else some time and aggro.
Tried at first to remove only the mentioned piano black trim piece that surrounds the window switch, (I have proper trim removal tools) but only succeeded in dislocating the clips on the front/side edge of it, the rear edge abutting the main door card was not shifting at all and I declined to try and force it too much, (just as well as it transpired.)
Next option seemed to be to remove the whole door card, which was as straightforward to do as most are. Four small torx screws on the casing edges and two larger ones revealed behind the 2 'satin chrome' plastic covers on the ends of the door pull, plus the usual push-fit trimclips that had to be eased out to avoid breaking them. Lastly unhook the inner door handle control cable and lift the whole thing away no problem.
Found out then that I should not have tried to remove just the piano black piece, as it is plastic-welded to the padded armrest unit and so is not designed to be removed - luckily no harm done though as I could snap it back together OK.
Rather than removing the whole door card, all I had needed to have done was remove the 2 larger torx screws, allowing just the small armrest unit to be separated from the main door card. Ho Hum.
Fished-out the window switch and re-inserted it back into it's holder as the retaining clips turned-out, (surprisingly) not to be damaged. However, a gentle test push on the switch revealed that it was too easy to dislocate the switch again, despite it appearing to snap back into it's holder quite firmly.
I considered electrical-taping the switch into it's holder or using a small tie-wrap around it, but for now chose to use a little good quality adhesive to help secure the switch to it's holder instead.
If time reveals this option not to be durable then I shall resort to taping. At least now I know I will only need to tackle an easily removed small section of the door furniture...

I have a 2018 C3 Aircross and have the same issue of the switch falling through in to the door. I cannot find anywhere how to remove the small armrest part from the door. I can't even find the screw locations in order to remove the armrest.
Can you help?
Thanks in advance

Hi giggles25
Your C3 Aircross is a C3 A88
but RubyRed has a 2017 C3 B618 which is very different to yours.
I have added a photo to the 2017 C3 B618 which shows the caps for those torx screws.
Your diagram for A88 C3 models don't show those caps, this is the reason you can't find them.
It looks like you need to remove the whole door card to access the switch parts inside.

Thank you for your quick response, that is was what I feared when I couldn't find the screw in the handle area or any kind of caps.
May need a trip to the garage for this one, I think taking the whole lot off may be a little out of my capability range
Thanks again
