Hi There, I have two problems with my drivers seat. Has anyone had the same problem or know of it?
One: the seat keeps going back up after I use the lever to pump it down, as I'm 6ft3 so like the seat low as possible. But next morning it's back up now
Two : all down the left hand of the seat you can feel the metal frame like a metal pipe I've put a pic of me gripping the frame as its only the thin cloth that separates the the frame and my back lol. Don't know if this made wrong or the padding has collapsed had let the metal push through to front of the chair.
Also is it easy to remove the chair if I got a second hand one? Thanks in advance

Hi
To remove the Drivers seat you need to disconnect the air bag connectors under the seat. Do this with the battery disconnected to prevent errors being stored and mistakes setting off the side air bags.
Slide the seat fully forward to find some fixing that mount the runners to the floorpan, then same for the front, slide the seat fully rear.

Hi I did as you said disconnected the battery and the mechanic put the replacement seat in and when I connected the battery back it came up with a warning that some one had tried to break in. This disabled the engine from starting ( it turned over but no starting) cue a few minutes of panic I though some thing had blown, luckily the mechanic had a laptop that could reset errors and did so and the car started. But I'm lucky I didn't follow your advice and put the seat in myself as I would have been stuck at home with no way of starting my car lol

A little off topic but it's frightening news. This means anytime the battery is disconnected the car thinks it's been broken into and you need a scan tool to reset it!
Good one Citroen, another excuse for a trip to the dealer!
Is there anything in the owners manual about disconnecting or replacing the battery?

Nothing special and no warning about that particular problem.
