Hi, newbie here.
Wife's 16 plate C3 not long purchased - done 6k miles in it herself and it's up to just under 18k overall.
Is the appearance of this warning light (accompanied by the beep from hell) a common issue? Oil level is spot on.
Just hoping it's a quirk of the C3 and relatively innocuous!
Any advice much appreciated.

There are reports of this on other Citroen and Peugeot models and it can turn out to be the oil filter housing, with this replaced the fault clears.

I would take it to get looked at, picked up if its a long drive. Oil flow and pressure is very important for an engine.

A diagnostics will need to be do to determine if the sensor is faulty, the oil pressure is acceptable or there is a wiring fault.

If the fault coincides with a new oil filter, then check this is correct. Or just check it anyway?
