Hi.
I have a C3, 64 plate with the panoramic windscreen.
Unfortunately, I was driving along the motorway the other day and the silver trim between the windscreen and the roof on top of the car lifted away, leaving it sticking up and making a heck of a noise untill I could pull over at the next service station.

As you can see in the photo it is bent and of no use anymore (its currently gaffer taped down 🤣) so I am intending to replace it.
I already have the trim to replace it but having looked at the fixing points and how it secures etc, it doesn't look easy or simple.
I was just wondering if anyone had a step by step guide or any advise on how to remove the old trim and fit the new one please?
If not, would this time of thing be covered in Haynes manual if I invest in one of them?
Thanks for reading and for any help.

Hi

Haynes doesn't cover the later models.

Your trim looks like it should be bonded down, that seems to be quite a common thing for modern cars.

You could find a friendly car windscreen fitter, they will sure to know the problem of securing the trim.
