Hi, My wifes C3 has a problem that the windscreen wipers remain on, the steering column control will let them speed up and slow down to normal (not intermittent), but when set of off they just keep going.
I looked in the engine bay fuse box but cant see a relay ( i thought it may have stuck on).
does anyone have a wiring diagram of the windscreen wipers electrical system, or photos of where (if there is one) the relays would be.
Thanks
Stu

Probably the COM2000 at fault, there are no user replaceable relays for wipers, you will need to change the whole BSM (engine bay fuse box).stulish wrote:Hi, My wifes C3 has a problem that the windscreen wipers remain on, the steering column control will let them speed up and slow down to normal (not intermittent), but when set of off they just keep going.

The COM2000 info page is here.
I would advise some diagnostics with Lexia tool to identify the cause.

thanks C3CAR, i will put it into the garage to get a daignostic test done.
one other question if i get a new BSM does this need programming, or is it a straight swap out?
Thanks

Its a straight swap, no programming for the BSM.stulish wrote:if i get a new BSM does this need programming, or is it a straight swap out?
