Apologies if this is in the wrong area, I'm looking for a replacement drivers side headlight for my wife's Citroën C3 (2011) Exclusive Auto, struggling to find any on eBay etc and the likes of Euro Car Parts are ridiculously priced, anyone breaking one of these or got one for sale?

This one appears here on eBay. they make a distinction that is has the dark grey/black strip. The same unit is used on the C3 and the DS3.terry6680 wrote: ↑Sun Jan 06, 2019 10:12 am Apologies if this is in the wrong area, I'm looking for a replacement drivers side headlight for my wife's Citroën C3 (2011) Exclusive Auto, struggling to find any on eBay etc and the likes of Euro Car Parts are ridiculously priced, anyone breaking one of these or got one for sale?
Does yours have the dark strip?

If you are changing it because it's got full of water, it's a common fault on the early models.
You can wick the water out with some rolled up kitchen roll and then let the moisture dry out.
The solution to stop it happening again is to ensure the cover is fitted correctly.
There is a topic 'water in the headlights' on the forum that covers this problem on the early cars and it would be interesting to know if the problem is still present on later models.

Actually I think it's due to there being a thin crack on the side of the headlight which I can only imagine is letting moisture in so I could try that fix but chances are the moisture will come back?
