Potentially, yes.
It is an option from new.
You may have a fault that affects the cruise control.

I thought that all versions of the have cruise. Our 2011 one does. I have seen posts on some forums where the cruise control was thought to be not working, but it turned out that the owner didn't understand how it works and were trying to engage it whilst stationary. So the question is, is the owner accelerating to more than 30mph (or 50kph) before engaging it, and is the wheel set to cruise before doing so?

Good morning all, further to my post re the cruise control not working, I have figured out what I was doing wrong.....
I was going by the illustrations in the handbook, which appears to show downward or upward pressure on the "faster / slower" buttons on the stalk, which do not move in those directions.
I wasn't until I found the finger tip depressions at the back of the buttons that the penny dropped and I'm glad to say that it all works very well.
Thanks to those who replied in an effort to assist me....Bob....
