Hi Guys,
Yesterday I purchased a late 2007 Petrol C3 1.4 SX with Pan Roof for my Son as his first car. "Sold as Seen" so have a couple of niggles, the Pan Roof wont open, not the end of the world and didn't put us off buying, have had a quick search but need to look into possible/likely causes.
Wasn't until half way home I realised the blowers are not working, I have searched the threads here so can see its a regular problem. The model we have purchased has the LCD display and like other posts I have seen, the display works, the heater will get warm but there is no 'blow' having checked the fuses I assume its the Heater Blower Resistor.
The heater/blower thread is quite old, I just wanted to ask if anyone has any recommendations of a reliable seller of a replacement? I think I have seen what looks like two different looking replacements?? not sure if I have simply misunderstood??
I have seen this version...
And this version...
Can someone let me know which one I am likely to need??
many thanks
Jason

Hi Jason,

When you have removed your faulty heater blower resistor pack, just match it up visually from this list of options for the various types of heater blower resistor packs fitted to the Citroen C3.

There are more than two. You need to remove the one from your car and match it up. Your problem will arise if a previous owner has removed it and left an empty hole.

This will need its own topic. One question per topic works, multiple questions gets confusing

Many thanks,
I will have a look this evening and pull the existing one assuming it is there...
was planning a little more research before I post a question about the Pan Roof, the blower is more urgent...
thank you again

Thanks have just pulled it and its the one with the fins.
no obvious charring or anything blown inside, loom/connecter also looks intact...
hopefully this will just swap out for a simple fix...
thanks again

Happy to report replacement unit turned up, plugged in and blowers now working fine, relieved it was such a simple and cheap fix.
