Hey all,
I have some aftermarket reversing sensors o got off eBay. I would like to fit my 2007 c3.
Does anyone have any pics or how to?
The whole bumper have to come off? Where do the wires feed through and how?
I had a browse on here but couldn't figure it out?
Thanks.

I have some pictures of where they fit. I would remove the bumper so you can be sure the holesaw isn't going to chop through something it shouldn't

With the bumper off (not many screws and clips to do) you may find the factory option for parking sensors rubber grommet. I don't know where it is, but seeing as some of the C3 came from the factory with the sensors fitted you should be able to find the entry/exit point.
Power from the reversing light cluster if you like and if you have the dashboard display, run along door shut plastics, up over the footwell and up to where you have positioned the display. Some of them just have a rear bleeper unit which is easy and some are wireless to the front and that is easy too.

From Citroen C3 Parking sensors is...
The factory fitted parking sensors seem to be fitted in the bumper strip.

I bought a kit of buzzer only sensors off Ebay, they give you plenty of cable and there's even a handy hole with rubber gromit in the boot floor to feed the sensor cables in to the boot.
In my case the reversing light is powered by the brown cable, the yellow cable powers the side lights.

Hi, sorry to dig up my old thread, I've finally got round to fitting my sensors, however they don't work!
I've tested the unit off a 9v battery and they bleep.
Here's my question, I have 2 cables from the sensor unit, red & black. I tapped the red wire into my purple reverse light (deffo correct cable) and earthed off a bolt.
But reading another thread, should I have earthed off a cable in the light cluster?
Thanks

The C3 is a common earth system so all earths are at the same potential.
You have to be sure you have actually found an earth, but if you have, all earths will be the same.

Cheers for the reply, I have now just sorted. I took a feed off the green earth cable from the cluster and hey presto it works.Arfur Dent wrote: ↑Sat Mar 14, 2020 9:13 pm The C3 is a common earth system so all earths are at the same potential.
