Hi all - the front end of our 2007 Diesel 1.4Hdi C3 has always been in poor condition but it recently got a lot worse when a rolling object came bouncing straight towards us out of nowhere and smashed its way through the lower radiator grille leaving it in tatters. Fortunately the grille did what it was supposed to, sacrificed itself to save the actual radiator.

We need, among other things, a replacement lower grille and a left inner wheel arch which was already quite broken. But there are also one or more bracing parts - whatever attaches the bottom of the bumper to the front of the chassis - missing from underneath. I don't know if this would be the engine undertray on its own, or the engine undertray plus additional plastic braces or brackets.

While the wheel arches and lower grille are easily found from multiple suppliers I'm having real problems finding any images of the underside of this version of the C3 in order to see which plastic part or parts are missing so I can go looking for them to order them. There are quite a few images online of exploded diagrams of the front body trim parts (the bumper, the upper and lower grilles, etc) but I can find no similar diagram showing the underbody plastic parts such as the engine undertray. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Note the 'hog rings (80)' these are what the clips that attach the engine under tray and front bumper lower edge to the body interface with.

Thanks for the prompt response and excellent diagrams, thank you.

...I don't suppose you also have the one showing the engine undertray do you? Ours is missing, so I have no idea what I'm looking for when trawling parts sites.

When I go looking for parts which I do know the appearance of (ie, inner wheel arch) some of the ones I'm offered are clearly the wrong ones. It would be helpful to know exactly what the correct engine undertray looks like.

This is an after-market version of your tray on eBay (new, complete with the clips).

Ah, lovely, thanks - that diagram of the undertray is especially useful as I have not been able to find that anywhere else. None of those parts are present on the car.

Thanks for confirmation of the correct shape for the inner wheel arch as well - that is the shape I understand it should be, but some of the ones which turn up in searches don't have that projecting horizontal 'point' on the leading end.
