I have changed the knackered ABS pump over today fitted a 2004 s/hand abs pump bleed the system with lexia pump motor working but how do I get the pump to talk to the BSI still shows the old pump number how do I alter the pump number in Lexia. Searched through the Lexia but can't solve how to change it over.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

There are places for viewing information and places for changing information in lexia.

Many things changed in 2006. The cars had a facelift but they also went from VAN to CAN.

So its all good?

abs lexia

You are looking at 'IDENTIFICATION'

there may be a configuration page in a different place in Lexia. I have not changed an ABS pump, but some other things just pick up the new number when it is changed.

I don't see ABS on the menu :(

2009 is the next cut-off for changes. I don't know if it would work, even within the same years you may need to update the BSI to talk to later units.

The advice for swapping things with ECUs on the C3 is to go for the same year. This way you are much less likely to come up against non communicating or non identified ECUs by the BSI.
