Hi,
My C3 had developed a problem, the heater blower motor makes a humming noise en vibrates a lot when the climate control goes to a higher speed. Now i've read that there might me something with the motor itself, i already checked the interior filter.
However the problem that i am having is that i cannot find the heater blower. When searching online i could only find the resistor location.
If someone knows where to find it, please let me know

Hi there.
The heater blower motor and the fan assembly on a 2006 is the same for all 2002 to 2009 and on. It is inside the centre console, behind the radio area and above the heater blower resistor you have found.
You can't see it without stripping out the centre console
or at least the glove box.
The diagram is here

Since i don't live in the UK and because of that have a left-hand driven C3, i luckily don't need to remove the glovebox ( since it is cooled it also got an air vent that would be needed to remove ).
From under the steering column i can see the blower motor, just need to find out how to get is loose now .

Does anyone know how this is attached? I found the blower motor, but i can't seem to figure out how to get it off there.
I tried searching for it, but all i can find is that on the UK models it is behind the glovebox, but not how to actually get it off

The Diagram shows a single screw mounting it, obviously you will need to disconnect the plug.
Did you see the screw in the diagram in the link I gave?
Number 2 points to a screw of some sort sorts and the line shows it attaching to the heater housing assembly, this is how the diagrams show you how things are attached by fixings.

I completely missed that screw. While looking closely at the diagram i do have an idea on where this screw should be located.
I will have a look tomorrow, thanks for the explanation!

Hey guys,
Sorry for the late update, i haven't got round doing it up until today.
There was some dirt in there which caused the noise, it is now much more silent, however when it is almost on full ( from speed 7 of the climate control ) it still vibrates a bit, but that is fine for me as long as it works fine which it does.

Hi
Does yours have the cabin/pollen filter?
Was the dirt something you could identify?
because I can't see how dirt would get in there....

Sorry for the late reaction, have been quite busy lately.because I can't see how dirt would get in there....
I've replaced the cabin/interior filter quite recently, the old one was quite dirty and seemed to have a gap as it was not installed perfectly. Maybe dirt got in there because of that.
The problem hasn't come back tough so at least i know i installed the new one correctly
