Hello dudes and dudettes of the C3 forum. You all have been incredibly helpful in the past and I would like to have another question answered if possible.
I recently had a new clutch which is all fine and dandy. Unfortunately for me, the place (Called A1 Clutches in Tipton) fitted the clutch and are basically a bunch of con merchants and call you every 10 minutes trying to add jobs onto the bill which I of course refused.

Now, because of my refusal to comply with their demands low and behold they have done somthing to my temperature sensor which means my temperature Gauge is not constantly on full, which also means my fan is working really hard after the engine is off.

I have looked and googled etc. as usual and obviously it could be the sensor itself,

but it was working fine before the clutch was fitted!

So my question is, what could possibly cause the temperature gauge to be on full? Is the sensore the most likely point of failure?

Thanks all. I look forward to your brilliant advice ;-)

The temperature sensor has been disconnected and not reconnected. Probably at the sensor plug.
