Passenger window slid open today after passenger shut door, I've got panel off, appears that little white plastic part fell off because spring failed, all runner wire is knotted so I'll drill out rivets and remove, 1 question, does the glass attach to the clip or just rest on it? that looks like the only, " oh crp" moment I can forsee when I try to get the glass back on the runner.

The glass is attached because on the down direction the glass is pulled past the seals.
If the glass was just resting on the runner, it wouldn't come down.

Ive got a query in that case,
There are 3 rivets holding runner onto door frame which I can drill out, however the top rivet is very close to the glass so im worried drilling out may damage glass, im assuming the rivet doesnt touch the glass, can anyone offer me any advice on this please,
Thanks
