I've just come across a rather strange problem.

The electric mirrors in my car were not working when purchased. I inspected fuse 10, Ran a multimeter on it. No faults.

The electric windows fuse 12 (30A) were also working correctly.

So I assumed the mirrors had a switching error.

The overspeed warning button was also not working.

Today I came to install an MP3 radio transmitter and USB socket. Neither sockets were functioning. So I got the board out and looked at fuse 22. 20A fuse blown replaced and everything is working..... Including the mirrors, and the overspeed!

Is it common to have the mirrors wired into the wrong fuse? And do I need to increase the ampage of that fuse because of the mirrors or should I just leave it at 20A?

Currently fuse 22 has - int lights, mirror motors, overspeed, number plate light, and 12v outlets on it.... It's left me pretty confused overall.

I wouldn't change any fuses for a higher rating than citroen intended. You may end up getting a dangerous melting cable or connector.

Maybe the diagram needs updating rather than an incorrect wiring, but you can never know what previous owners have done...

True, I was thinking it might be a monday morning loom. Perhaps the connection block has the mirrors in the wrong spot on the terminal.

I'll keep an eye on the fuse. Since the mirror motors arn't used very often I don't think it will be a problem.
