Hello,

Does anybody knows where heater matrix/ac evaporator on Citroen C3 Puretech 1.2 Puretech (2019) is ?

I looked a Sonax video, but the cabin filter in C3 is outside the car (in engine compartment). Do i take off the cabin filter and put the tube in there and spray it ?

Yes. You should also make sure the air source on your air conditioning control panel is set to outside air (NOT recirculate).

Next time you have the air conditioner running, check for water dripping under the car. That water is coming from the evaporator in the air distribution box in the cabin and is normal. Use a small screwdriver or rod and poke it up into the hole that the water is coming out of. You are making sure the hole is clear and not blocked with dirt or mud. The smell is coming from bacteria that live in that water. If you can get rid of all of the water, you should get rid of the smell too. However some systems just suffer from smelly A/C syndrome and there isn't much you can do about it.

Thanks for advise !

I will check drainage.
I tried few times with those ac cleaners that you put into the cabin, turn on the ac, recirculation and leave like that for 10 minutes but it does not last long...
If i dont turn on recirculation when ac is running there is no smell after i turn ac off, only when recirculation is on you can smell it when you turn off ac and leave on recirculation.
I will try to spray this Sonax behind the cabin filter and see if it works.
