Hi all. I have just purchased a c3 09 reg airdream (diesel) 1.4 I've got it home but now noticed the rear parking sensors are not working. I get the beep when I go into reverse but the display doesn't change and the sensors don't beep when I reverse it again my garage door. Any ideas? Is this a simple fix? Got it from a garage a fair drive away so if it can be fixed rather than returned that would be great.

Thanks

Have a look in the menu on the display to see if they have been deactivated.
Vehicle
This menu allows you to activate or deactivate certain driving and comfort equipment:
- wiper linked with reverse gear (refer to the "Visibility" section),
- guide-me-home lighting and duration (refer to the "Visibility" section),
- parking sensors (refer to the "Driving"section).
Programming
You can activate or deactivate the system by means of the multifunction screen configuration menu.
The system state is memorised when switching off the ignition.
For more information on access to the parking sensors menu, refer to "Configuration/Vehicle parameters"
in the "Multifunction screens" section corresponding to your screen.

A trip to a Citroen dealer would be the next step. If the option doesn't appear in the menu then the computer is not configured correctly and this is a Dealer or Lexia/Diagbox job to reconfigure.

Hi there

I was wondering if you ever managed to solve this problem since as I have recently bought a 2011 C3 and also have the same problem with the parking sensor display not appearing on the central console, even though the sensors are clearly beeping and working alright otherwise when reverse is engaged.
Any advice appreciated

As the car will need to be connected up to diagnostics equipment (Diagbox) to find outs what's going on.
