Hi,

I have a 2016 Platinum with the ETG gearbox, and have noticed that it feels stiff going from N to A , but is ok going from N to R.

Could it be just the hot weather affecting it, and does anyone else have this issue?

Many thanks.

Hi

You have a solenoid controlled manual gearbox (ETG - Efficient Tronic Gearbox). These have been a problem from the very early versions of sensodrive.

I don't think the weather should be affecting gear change, well, in the UK anyway.

The gear selector operates switches for the computer signals and if this has become stiff, I think that Citroen will change the gear selector stick as a whole unit.

I don't know if they can be lubricated.
