hi I have a c3 pluriel on a 03 plate and have had no problems with it for the past 3 years just recently had it mot and serviced and now without warning I hear bleeps and the snowflake sign comes above the gear indicater and I loose gears, engine still runs but wont find gears I have to sit and wait about 2/3 mins for it to go again ,it has happened about six times now I love my car but im getting worried as I do quite a few miles on motorway and even though this just seems to happen when slowing down ie traffic lights or traffic jam , I don't want to spend pound if it time to get another car , its only done 32000 mile and has been regular serviced any ideas thanx in advance

Welcome to the forum traceywood

Sport and Snowflake appearing together are an indication of a gearbox fault. This has been detected by the gearbox and a fault code is stored. You need a citroen garage or Lexia to read the code stored to get an idea on what has been detected.

You don't mention the sport symbol, but I assume you didn't see it as 'sport and snow' is a very common indication on the auto gearboxes when things are not quite right. But even if its only the snow, and the problem you describe, it will need to go in for diagnostics.

Until you know what caused the warning, you won't know what fault caused it, so you won't know the cost to fix it. But, any work on the auto gearbox is going to cost some money.

A local garage that can do automatic gearboxes could be cheaper than a main dealer.

An hours worth of diagnostics at citroen or find some computer wizz and get lexia could be worth it just to know how much its going to cost to get it fixed.

Hi Cazza1, how many miles did the car have when you needed a new clutch for your sensodrive?
