Hi can anyone help please? I was driving my C3 back from the garage after having new pads and discs fitted and this was my journey home ( only a 15 minute drive ) When I was driving it it kept saying abs fault then abs, seat belt and airbag fault then when I was braking and the car would come to a standstill there was always a loud thud from the gearbox and then when I tried to pull off it wouldn't go until the revs were hitting 4000 and then the handbrake light came on and to finish it all off it flashed up gearbox failure and every light on the dashboard was flashing like a xmas tree including snowflake and sport Sorry for the long description but it all happened in that order all in the space of 15 minutes. Had a garage run a diagnostic check on it and all it said was gearbox fault eds/abs. At my wits end with it now don't know what to do with it.

That is a very poor read, I hope you didn't pay them too much money for such unhelpful information?robertybob11 wrote: Had a garage run a diagnostic check on it and all it said was gearbox fault eds/abs
If you really want to diagnose this fault, you need to start with a proper Citroen diagnostics read. This can be done 'DIY' if you have a spare laptop, plenty of time and one of these Lexia tools from here.robertybob11 wrote:At my wits end with it now don't know what to do with it.
This is the Lexia topic to read and avoid the pitfalls
Interestingly you have listed yours as a sensodrive, but you are replying to a topic that is a right mixed bunch of full auto and sensodrive, so you may have just confused yourself if you read any of the previous posts?
It sounds quite mechanical. And not very good news. Clutch failure, clutch solenoid failure, that sort of thing. Lexia can see the clutch actuator codes.robertybob11 wrote: there was always a loud thud from the gearbox and then when I tried to pull off it wouldn't go until the revs were hitting 4000 and then the handbrake light came on and to finish it all off it flashed up gearbox failure
I would start with lexia, get the codes, see what it says, test the clutch solenoid and take it from there, but it does sound like the clutch system has gone
