I would love a little help understanding the the below results shown in the attachment
below, I have installed two new (generic ) Electro Valves into the hydraulic block of my 2006,1.6 petrol .. which all seemed straight forward thanks to some wonderful instruction from this forum and Arfer Dent, thanks people. anyway the test run proved a little shaky with the gear changes and the problems of prior to replacement seemed a little worse,
however then the car went into "safety mode" (Limp Mode?) now the second part of this puzzle is how do I get
the this state back to normal and any suggestions as to what my problem is?
Also I did a diagnostics audio test via Diagbox on the electro valves and the buzzing sound seem to be normal.

Looks like this was not long after start up (the oil temp is only 33') and the gearbox was attempting to change a gear. The turbine speed and engine speed don't match, meaning the torque converter has not locked up yet. So my guess is it was attempting to change into 2nd.
Ok, if you look at "oil pressure" it says 1.05 Bar. Then look at "selected pressure" it says 6.0 bar. They should be the same...6 Bar or similar, hence the pressure regulation fault.
Your generic pressure regulator valve is not doing the job. Yes, you can hear it buzzing during the actuator test but bad ones will buzz too.
The other option is a blockage in the associated oil gallery in the valve body, but that's unlikely.
One of our members here had a similar problem installing a new valve...it was faulty. Replacing the brand new faulty valve solved the problem.

Love the accent mate lol .. yeah I'm from Maryborough and thanks for your help, just two questions if I may .. Is it possible to pin point the faulty valve or should I replace both and from where should I source locally if at all? the two I purchased were from England but took an age to get here.

A quick look on Ebay shows Aussie sellers selling 2 Chinese valves for about $70.
I honestly couldn't tell whether the main pressure modulation valve is the cause or the converter pressure modulation valve, it's just as easy to replace both at the same time.
Look up Al4 DPO solenoid valve on Ebay.
