Disconnecting a good MAF makes little noticeable difference but disconnecting a bad MAF makes a big improvement in performance.
I don't know what disconnecting a MAP does other than leave error codes.

Gearbox solenoid fault. Not too difficult to strip out and replace the solenoid but you may need a software update to the ECU if you are replacing the old style soleniods.
