Gearbox

This is what has happened
1. Car beeps and shows up snowflake sign and won't go past 2nd gear.
2. Stop the car and restart it . Snowflake etc still there.
3. Call RAC they confirm clutch actuator fault. Had this changed back in may 2017 so I call the garage who done it ( now 200 miles from me) they send me a new part.
4. RAC use a third party to collect my car and take it to a garage. When the guy arrives he is stressed because it's pouring with rain he is 2 hours late and doesn't think he will get his truck down my road. I say to him you can drive it but only to 2nd gear so your get it up the road. The guy gets in the car and turns the key , he then starts playing around with the gear stick up to 1st gear up to 2nd down to 1st etc etc.. until the car decides it's gonna show - and won't now go into any gear and also car now won't turn on.
4. Car is at garage he changes the actuator , car still won't start and also still not going into gear.
5. Garage guy has tried resetting gearbox ecu but it keeps failing.

I'm losing the will to live it's been at the garage nearly 2 weeks and I have no hope..
He has checked all fuses and battery is fine.

I would load up lexia and scan for all the codes to see why it won't start.

2 weeks to do some very basic checks is very poor going...
