Had fault before where car wouldnt start was down to something loose in glovebox??? Happened again as was selling car *hilarious* ive dropped fusebox everything looks tight underneath theres a small black plug looks like has four pins and a blue connector connecting these seems to fit but no results does anyone have any guidance pics to follow p.s has had new gearbox so not that moving fuse box at one point gear selector showed up breifly but went away

There are some redundant plugs in the place you describe.

Can you take a picture of the suspect plug and attach it?

There is a circuit diagram in the haynes manual for the C3 that describes sockets/plug colour and wire colours.

The blue and black sockets don't have anything connected to them , but there isn't a loose plug needing a home.

If you need to have you foot on the brake to start the engine, you could have a problem with the pedal switch?

Its not so tricky to remove the whole glove box for a better view, just some torx screws once you get the door off (more torx)
