Gear change

Just bought a NEW c3 exclusive auto (torque converter)....will not change into 4th till 35/40 mph so spends all the time in town in 3rd gear.
Citroen say nothing wrong and is designed to do this (??)
As a result car is noisy and what a waste of fuel and wear on engine .
What can I do now

You could visit another dealer and test drive a different C3 auto, like yours to see if its the same....

If it works how you like it, then yours has a fault and Citroen need to investigate.

If its the same as yours, try yet another and after a drive of a couple of them you will get the idea on what is 'normal'.

If yours is normal and you don't like it, swap it for something different (that you have actually test-driven) so you know you are happy with it

I could get mine into 4th dead on 30mph. I had a 2011 11 Reg C3 Exclusive 1.6i VTi Auto.
