gear box not going into auto mode

I have a problem with my gear box working ok on paddles but in auto mode it only changes up to 2nd and nothing else I have the abs light on would this effect the gear box operation tried the reset but no joy any help would be appriated.

Possibly. If you find out why the ABS light is on and its due to road speed then that would explain why the auto box won't change up automatically.

These faults are best diagnosed with Citroen lexia tool from ebay (here).

There was a break in abs wire in the middle of the car some ware so rigged a temp wire from abs unit to sensor so sorted now and auto box working
