My wife has got a Citroen c3 1.6 sensodrive from 2003.
A few times the car stopped while driving. There is a sign of a snowflake on the dashbord and it says AUTO and the car won t drive. The engine is on and running but the gear box doesn t change any gears. I read on different forums that the clutch actuator is the problem. I have bought it already but I m not sure if the clutch actuator s lever is compressed or not. I will atach some pictures and would be very greatful if someone could give me more information on how to replace it. I have Lexia and I attach picture with error.
Thank you.
Best regards,
Marian

The new part comes as clutch closed because you can't change the clutch actuator state while its off the car. You must not apply 12v directly to it and only control the clutch actuator from the ECU.
To set your faulty actuator to clutch closed (recessed position) use lexia, MA piloted manual gearbox. Actuators test, Closing of the Clutch, then switch off the ignition. It may take 1 minute to deactivate the clutch, then you can disconnect the battery.
There are a couple of slotted holes that mount the clutch actuator and this is going to be a problem to set the actuator correctly. I suggest you take a note of the mounting positions and use these as a reference to install the new one.
The adjustment is critical and 'Citroen use a special tool' to set this

You can get a brand new Citroen C3 sensodrive clutch actuator here
