Hi All
The 1.6 Exclusiv Auto defaults to the Normal setting on starting. Is it possible to change the default to Sport?

Hi Phil, I had a look in the manual and I can see no mention of locking in the Sport mode between engine restarts.tciprop wrote:Hi All

The manual mentions that Sport is engaged after starting the engine, but no mention of it staying engaged after the engine is switched off.Sport programme "S"
Press button "S" , after starting the engine.
The gearbox automatically favours a dynamic style of driving.
S appears on the instrument panel.
The AL4 service manual says
Note: Every time the ignition is switched off then on again, the ECU automatically switches to the "normal program" configuration.

Thanks for your reply. I just wondered if the setting was adjustable, perhaps in the ECU.
