I have had the same problem with my citroen c3, I've stopped twice in the middle of a busy road when the car has gone into snow mode and can't get out of neutral. I've only had the car a few weeks and wondering if this will be a reoccurring thing even after it has been looked at by the garage? I love the car but I'm nervous driving it now in case it happens again. Wondering if it would be better to change cars now while it's still under warranty??
Thanks in advance!
Another auto gearbox will not engage 1st gear.

This is difficult to answer because there are several different mechanical or electrical reasons why the gearbox will go into sport and snow mode or shut down. Without knowing why it's going into these fail modes, it's not possible to guess whether it will occur again. And if it ever did occur again, would it be for the same fault?
If you are unhappy with the car, and you have the option to swap it, maybe this would be a good idea for you. But, who says the car you are swapping with will be any better?
Not a lot of help, I know, but all cars will some problems at some point in their life.

Thank you for your advice! I've taken it into the garage who said they will take it into citroen if they can't identify the fault. So fingers crossed it will be ok after that! Apart from that fault I am happy with the car so would rather keep it!
