Hi leon,
Looks like this:
You can find them on ebay, have a look at this link.
If you change the actuator, its could be worth changing the clutch plate too. This way the ECU can be reset as there is no wear on the clutch plate or actuator. Try this link to euro car parts to compare prices for clutch plates.
If you need to access the gearbox ECU, use lexia (here).
Its on the gearbox bell housing.leonardo41 wrote: I just need some help to locate the clutch actulator

There is oil in the gearbox, they are usually sealed for life. If you want to renew the oil, drain it all out and refill with the exact amount for your gearbox. I don't think you need to do this until you have the clutch repaired, and you may not need to do it at all.leonardo41 wrote:also the gearbox dose it take oil sorry im new to cars like this never had a sensodrive car so don't know much , if I takes oil can you tell me where to top up the box
Its a common fault and quite expensive to fix. It can often make the early cars uneconomical to repair if you factor in the labour and parts costs.leonardo41 wrote: I brought the car the guy said it was fault diagnosed with clutch actuator fault

Sensodrive has flappy paddles and/or a standard looking manual gear shifter stick, but without the numbers (1,2,3,4,5). Its a manual gearbox adapted to semi-automatic with clutch and gear actuators and ECU.leonardo41 wrote:I'm now in two minds that this car is not senso drive its just a normal 1.4 sx 2002 as cant find them after looking for actulators . Sensodrive has a clutch, but no clutch pedal. No 'Park' or 'Drive'. You can drive the car in semi or auto mode.
The sensodrive gearstick looks like this:
and the flappy paddles, part of the com2000, off the car:
The other is the classic automatic gearbox, full auto, designed to be auto from the start, no clutch. Its got the familiar PRND marking and the selector looks like:

Does this one help?, it shows the clutch actuator of the sensodrive semi automatic box and its location on the bell-housing and the bracket. You will need to remove the air filter and its plastic pipes to get to the bell housing/gear box and it may give better access if you remove the fuel filter.

I think snow mode locks out first gear so you have a problem with first gear if it works ok in the other gears.leonardo41 wrote:Thankyou everyone for your info much needed , its the classic auto box

Gearbox oil for the fully automatic AL4 gearbox is a specific Esso ATF 4HP20-AL4 or Esso/Mobil LT 71141 only.
Top up and level checking is difficult yet critical for proper operation of the gearbox.
