Hi all,

Got a 05 plate C3 SensoDrive last week and hit the motorway today. When I'm at a stop and hit the gas, it goes up to 45mph on second gear! Only when I let go off gas it ups to 3rd/4th.

If I go easy on the gas, it gears up normal. Put the feet down and it'll stay on 2nd gear forever. It went up to 45 and I got worried.

Is this normal? Thank you.

This is completely normal, when you go pedal to the metal it gears down for a faster acceleration sometimes up to 4500/6000rpm.
