Hi the Sensodrive ECU has gone in my partner's car and I need another. The dealer wants £350 which is way too much. I can find them on Ebay but the letter after the "S" serial number is different. Mine is S118475201 E but the one on Ebay is a C instead of E . the small SW serial number is also different but the HW one is the same but I suspect the important numer is the large print "S" code. Does anyone know if the ECUs are interchangeable with different suffixes.
Thanks David

Hi David, I found some info from Citroen about which ECU numbers are for which cars. The selection was from a 1.4 16v petrol and there looks like several different ECUs possible for the 2 main variants being STOP&START and not STOP&START cars.davedougan wrote:Hi the Sensodrive ECU has gone in my partner's car and I need another. Hopefully you can work out which ones will do the job for you from the info? If you need to do any reconfiguration or updating of firmware in the other ECUs to allow communication with unexpected sensodrive ECUs, the any of the lexia systems on ebay will do the job.

Hi Arthur, thanks for that. Seems to make sense then that the suffix is to do with the update stage so a C should be ok to work with a C and vice versa albeit that a E has a better setup but the C will still work. I have LEXIA so should be OK for coding.....I hope.
Thanks again.....all I need to do now is find an ECU!!

I am glad it is useful. It would be great if you keep us up-to-date on your progress and yes, lexia will prove to be invaluable if any software updates are needed.davedougan wrote:Hi Arthur, thanks for that.
