Which Programme do I download for C3 2006 (56 Plate)

This is Chris 1949. I was using an old PC with an Old Windows Xp Programme ,which appears to have died. I need to get another PC. Is the Diagbox and Lexia software still only downloadable on an old windows XP programme or is there another solution. Secondly what model and type of PC should I get and where do I find a good copy of Diagbox or Lexia that you all use. I have read Ozvtr saying he has had several issues with his copy and finally found one that worked.Is this a chronic problem with this software as this is not a registered product and as Ozvtr suggested all of you are struggling with similar problems. I need some basic guidance for the type of PC needed and a site where the Diagbox or Lexia software works.

I have a V7 Diagbox running on Windows 7 32 bit.

Not current hardware or software. A hand-me-down laptop serves well.

You can get a copy of the later 7.01 from here, won't be for long

It comes with install guides and files on DVD (need a DVD Drive) or transfer them to USB.

That version will do windows 10 32 bit so if you buy one with 64bit on just format and reinstall the 32 bit windows on it.

There are some known workarounds for a 64bit windows and lexia/diagbox which could be a different route.


I wouldn't upgrade the install to the latest version and stick with the lowest 7.01 with that link if you are using an old bit of China hardware.
