Hi,

Have a 1.4HDi 8V Airdream + 2009 '59 plate. Done about 80,000 miles. Six months ago had a Anti-pollution warning come up abot 10 times. It would come up a couple of times in a row then clear for a month then come back again for a few times etc. Only when starting & would stop the car starting. TUrning the ignition off & on again & it would start perfectly. Anyway, plugged the Lexia clone in & read back fault codes, had several A058 fault codes that lexia doesn't understand. Left the codes on ther & fault seems to have disappeared.

Decided to investigate my parking sensors bleeping when they shouldn't. Lexia plugged in & look at fault log. It is full. Various brkae lights & headlight bulbs had been out filling up the log & more A058 faults. (It takes a good 5 to 10 minutes to download the log). Try to clear the log & it just sits there saying the log will be deleted but not button to press to do it.

Any ideas? I know the lexia & software work OK as can clear the log on another C3.

Is there a way to clear the log without the lexia?

I am not aware of any other way.

It would be helpful if you listed which version of the softwares you are using - diagbox etc. I have found that if the lexia or diagbox could not understand the codes its an indication that an update to the version is required.

But is it the same year and engine as the one you are having trouble with? If not, this still points to a version problem and a later version of diaxbox/lexia can read, clear and diagnose later faults. Some lexia contain bugs that get fixed with later versions but may never be see by most and only surface in a particular set of events and this may be one of them?

Hi,

Meant to say I'm using v7.04 of diagbox but rambled instead! The other car I tried is a petrol 1.6 16V 04 plate.

So it works on an old car from 2004 but can't identify all the codes or clear logs on a 2009, I would say you need a later version of lexia - diagbox than 7.04 (which is very old anyway).
